Comic Book Hero

Founded in 2002 by singer and guitarist Darren Jardine,
Comic Book Hero has become one of the most successful acts on
the local Brisbane scene. The rise of Comic Book Hero has been a story synonymous with Australian rock n’ roll history. It’s a story about travelling the continent in tour vans in the face of many hardships to deliver high-energy rock n’ roll to the people.

The Comic Book Hero story could perhaps best be told in the
immortal words of the great Bon Scott –

Getting beat up, Getting stoned
Getting ripped off, Broken bones
Getting had, Getting took
I tell you folks it’s harder than it looks
It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
